Systemic therapy sees the person within their relationships — family, partner, work, society. Instead of looking for “who is to blame”, it focuses on the patterns that keep a difficulty alive and the strengths that already exist to change it.
Sessions are usually once a week, at least in the beginning. The length of therapy depends on your goals and we discuss it together from the start.
Everything we discuss stays confidential, in line with the Code of Ethics for psychologists. The only exception is the rare case of immediate danger to your life or the life of others.
