When it can help
Parenting is one of the most demanding roles — and nobody learns it from a book. Parent counselling can help when:
- you find it hard to set boundaries without shouting or guilt,
- tension at home has become a daily thing,
- you are worried about your child’s behaviour, mood or school,
- the family is going through a change — a new baby, a move abroad, separation or co-parenting,
- you are raising children between two languages and cultures,
- the two of you disagree about how to raise the children.
How we work
With a systemic lens, a child’s behaviour is understood within the context of the family. We do not look for parents’ “mistakes”; we find practical ways together that suit your own family.
One parent or both can attend. Sessions take place online, at a time that suits you — including evenings for those in other time zones.
Frequently asked questions
Does my child need to come too?
Not necessarily. Parent counselling is with the parents. If needed, we discuss together whether support for the child or teenager would also be helpful.
We are separated. Can we come together?
Yes, and it often helps a lot with co-parenting. We can also work with each parent separately.
How much does it cost?
A session lasts 50 minutes and costs €35.
