Therapy for teenagers
Adolescence brings change, pressure and questions of identity — even more so for teens growing up between two cultures. A space where they are heard without judgement.

When it can help
Teenagers often can’t find the words for what they feel, and parents only see the changes in behaviour. Support from a psychologist can help when you notice:
- anxiety about school, exams or self-image,
- withdrawal, anger or frequent tension at home,
- difficulties with friends, relationships or bullying,
- changes in sleep, mood or interest in activities,
- questions of identity and self-esteem — including feeling “in between” two countries.
How we work
The teenager has their own space and their own confidentiality. Because adolescence happens within a family, the systemic approach also allows parents — where useful and with the teen’s agreement — to join some sessions.
Parental consent is required for minors. Sessions take place online, which most teenagers find natural and comfortable, in Greek or English.
Frequently asked questions
My child does not want to talk to a psychologist. What can I do?
This is very common. We can start with a meeting with you as parents, to think together about how to approach it. The free introductory session is a low-pressure first step.
Will I know what my child talks about in sessions?
What is discussed stays confidential, so that the teenager feels safe. Parents are kept informed about the general progress, and immediately if there is any risk to their safety.
From what age?
This service is for teenagers, from around 13 years old. For younger children, parent counselling is recommended.
