When it can help
Sadness is a natural response to loss or a difficult change. When it lasts a long time or weighs on every part of life, support is worth it. It can help when:
- you have felt empty, tired or hopeless for weeks,
- you have lost interest in things you used to enjoy,
- you are grieving a person or the end of a relationship — sometimes from far away, unable to be there,
- your sleep, appetite or concentration have changed,
- you are withdrawing from the people around you.
How we work
At your own pace, we create a space where whatever you feel can be said. With the systemic approach we also look for the relationships and people who can become a support, and for the small steps that bring back meaning.
Where needed, therapy can be combined with psychiatric care.
If you are in immediate danger or thinking about harming yourself, call your local emergency number (112 in Greece and the EU). Online therapy is not suitable for emergencies.
Frequently asked questions
How is sadness different from depression?
Sadness is usually linked to an event and eases over time. When a heavy mood lasts for weeks and affects sleep, energy and daily life, it is worth talking to a professional.
Does therapy help with grief?
Yes. Grief is not something to be “cured”, but therapy helps the pain find room and life continue alongside it.
