When it can help
Many people reach out to a psychologist not because “something is wrong” with them, but because something in their life has become hard to carry alone. Individual therapy can help when:
- you feel anxiety, tension or exhaustion that does not ease,
- you are going through a transition — a break-up, a loss, a new job, a move abroad,
- the same difficulties keep repeating in your relationships,
- you find it hard to set boundaries or look after yourself,
- you simply want to understand yourself better.
How we work
With a systemic approach: we look at you within the “systems” of your life — family, partner, work, friendships, and for those living abroad, the two cultures you move between. Instead of looking for “what is to blame”, we explore which patterns keep a difficulty alive and which strengths already exist to change it.
In the first session we get to know each other and set goals together. We usually meet once a week, by 50-minute video call, from wherever you feel comfortable.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to have a “serious problem” to start therapy?
No. Therapy is for anyone who wants to understand themselves better or get through a difficult period. You do not need a diagnosis to start.
Can we have sessions in Greek even though I live abroad?
Yes. Sessions can take place in Greek or English — or a mix of both, if that is how you feel most at home. Many people abroad find it easier to talk about feelings in their mother tongue.
How much does a session cost?
An individual session lasts 50 minutes and costs €35. The first 25-minute introductory session is free.
